Dealing with life...

Lately..

Ive been going to dentist every other week now for about 3 months (last time was in 1998 or so), was nervous about the pain and all the crap i remember from childhood.. was nothing like that though, hardly felt a thing and all the time i was waiting for the pain.. nice relief!

Then i went shopping too which i havent done in soon 6yrs.. been mostly inside since 2005 cause of issues with breathing.. was on a bipap for like 24/7 for almost 2yrs and really struggled with it until in 2007 when i got my trach.. then more issues, was fine to get out of hospital after a month and go to my hometown but got sent to the local healthcenter (right before summer) and they told me 2weeks.. then my dr didnt sign off on ok to send me home, felt was unsafe (she was just covering her ass)… so i spent whole summer stuck in a room 3min from my apartment and no oportunity to shower.. after that was so used to sit in my bed and stayed there alot after that.. still do, sadly.. so good thing im starting to get more up:)

Thoughts from a racing mind..

Here we are again.. another post after months, think ill do two.. first something from yesterday.. i often do random searches based on things my mind decides to just drop in my lap, anyway and to the point.. was searching for oldest man with DMD on my trusted google, didnt get an answer but found a blog post about a man having his 50th birthday. from there i found several blogs from other people with DMD.. looked around and found interesting tidbits and helpful equipment for later problems, have quickly understood that with DMD you’re better off preparing too much vs. too little.. well that initial blog caught my eye and i went to the start of Scott Sands Alive, and started reading, was totally worth it..

Messed up people..

The helpers that work here have some nerve, well some.. latest is that they cant be on my facebook friends list.. because i had read that someone was sick 6h before their shift started, and called in sick 15min after it started and somehow thats on me?? They say its unprofessional to have people they are giving help to as friends on facebook..

Yet the people actually saying that they’re sick 6h before and don’t call are just fine, and its not their fault.. think they need to find a mirror and take a GOOD look.. and how can an employer dictate what the employee does in their free time? beyond common sense that is.. its ridiculous and this is another thing in a long line spanning 8 years, 9 soon.. and they don’t think i know who say things? Yeah, right.. in your dreams…
